The Horrible Halloween

When Jay and I were walking through the graveyard we heard a noise, Jay said ”Ahhh.” I thought ”Its time to go.” So we both ran to the exit. As we were running Jay fell so I went back for him, but there was a clown about to grab him so Jay hit him. After that Jay got up and we ran for 5 minutes until we were lost. After we got done walking we heard laughing, (which was freaky). As we heard it, we walked away, and we ran into a fence that said ”Do not touch. High Voltage.” We were trapped. ”What would we do.” we thought. Soon jay said, ”Lets jump the fence.” I said ”It was risky but we’ll try”. Then we jumped and we made it! That was the end of our horrible Halloween!!!!!!!!!

9-11 Reflections

I learned that 9-11 was a terrible event in history but even though it was tragic U.S Americans did not fall down they stood up against the terrorist. I learned that September 11 was just a normal day,  until flight 11 hit the first tower. I had also learned that 3 other planes crashed, 1 into the pentagon, 1 into a field in Pennsylvania, and the last plane hit the other tower. I still believe 9-11 was a very, very sad day but I’m happy that we rebuilt a tower to show that we won’t let that tragic day get in heads. I think the U.S Americans who lost family and friends did not deserve that. In class I learned that there were tons of First Responders who died and got badly injured while trying to save people. We learned that there were people on the plane that made the plane hit the field in Pennsylvania instead of hitting a famous place in Washington DC. We also read a book about the plane hitting the Pentagon and people saving others. I interviewed my Madre and she told me what she was doing, she said everyone thought it was an accident. Over all I learned that 9-11 was a bad day for us but we overcame it.

Life in 5th Grade

I’m liking fifth grade so far, mostly because of all the new things we get to do compared to 4th grade. One reason is because we have 5 different and we get to a lot of things that we didn’t do in 4th grade. It’s really awesome and one of my favorite things so far is getting sit wherever we want at lunch which is really fun. I’m really looking forward to doing a big project in Mrs.McFall’s class and getting to post a ton of things on our blogs. So far me and my friend Jordan are loving Mr.McBride because he is so FUNNY. Another thing I really like about 5th grade is getting to learn cursive writing. In 5th grade we also get to be the seniors on our campus. Another fun thing is that all the younger kids look up to us as, because we are there models. I am also looking forward to getting to do the reading fair. My main goal for this year is to learn as much as possible so I can pass the star test. I hope this year will be great.

My Hobby

Well, many people have hobbies like baseball, soccer, football, basketball, and other sports ,but for me, I like climbing. To begin, climbing is really fun and, you can pretend that you’re climbing ”anything” like mountains and tons of other things. If I can remember correctly, when I was six years of age, I climbed to the top of a tree and said ”I’m flying with the birds.” Also it has always been a dream of mine to be like Ian Dory, a professional climber, and what it would be like to be him. Second of all, climbing will get you healthy, by getting in the sun, and by using your whole body. It’s also a proven fact that if you get outside for at least 30 minutes everyday, the sun will give you vitamin C. However, if your skin gets in the sun too long it could be unhealthy. Most of all, it helps gain mental skills like hand-eye coordination and, it gets you great balancing skills. Here’s an example, a few years ago I wasn’t that good at catching a baseball but, when i started climbing, I got better and better at it because of hand-eye coordination. I have also always wondered if you climb allot, would you be good at tight-rope walking? To come to conclusion, I still love baseball, football and some other sports, but climbing will always be one of my favorites!
